Legal & General launches it's new Group website
Sceneric ensures prospective investors, prospective candidates and the City have a consistent brand and web experience
Working in partnership with the Legal & General Group Web Team, Sceneric has migrated the Group website http://www.legalandgeneralgroup.com/ onto the reusable Percussion powered architecture it has developed as part of the single platform strategy.
Sceneric deployed a team of experienced and certified Solution Architects, XHTML & Percussion resources and engaged in a structured program of work under an Agile methodology to provide:
- XHTML Templates optimised for multiple browsers
- Extended Percussion templates to match the new Legal & General Group online brand designed by Fortune Cookie
- Implementation of the Percussion Communities module to read data feeds from external providers for news, share price feeds and jobs
- Rich internet features including video, podcasts, Mega-flyouts, sliders and overlays
- Integration with 3rd party providers to ensure they are on-brand and tightly integrated into the user experience
- Content entry services to ensure a value for money site deployment
- Technical expertise including solution architecture on what is a complex implementation
The Legal & General web platform being created by the Group Web Team is consolidating off-brand and off-platform sites on a regular basis, creating cost synergies for Legal & General and reiterating Legal & General's brand message that "Everyday Matters".
