MANY SOLUTIONS, A COMMON APPROACH

Image MANY SOLUTIONS, A COMMON APPROACH

Sceneric provides a number of Content Management services that can be tailored to suit specific requirements. These services are split between Project Services and Content Management Packages.

Our Project Services provide support for organisations who are implementing Content Management solutions – whether that is a completely new implementation or enhancements to an existing implementation.

Based on a continual improvement cycle, the four elements – CM AnalysisCM Design,CM Deliver and CM Support – provide a structure upon which to select the correct services for your organisation. Whether Sceneric are providing a complete project team or key individuals, the Project Services are designed to minimise the risk of a CMS implementation and deliver maximum value from the resources invested. For those clients requiring a more long-term solution, the CM Support service can be extended to provide implementation support either on a ‘day’s per month’ basis or through an SLA based approach.

As part of Sceneric’s commitment to quality, all of our Project Services are underpinned by our experienced Project Management team.

To complement the Project Services, Sceneric also provides a number of Content Management packages – CM AuditCM UpgradeCM Tune and CM Migrate. These are off-the-shelf packages that can be applied to all organisations to ensure they are gaining maximum return on their investment in content management.

1.   CM Analysis:Requirements Modelling
Sceneric consultants will engage with the key stakeholders in a workshop to understand the existing system and to understand the key reasoning for the change. This process is kept simple and inclusive to ensure as many of the requirements are captured as possible, however we understand that as the process evolves so will the requirements.

2.   CM Design:Functional & Technical Design
Once the requirements have been defined and the use cases documented these can then be translated into functional and technical designs. Using an interview and workshop based approach; the key stakeholders will work with our consultants to translate the requirements into an informed design.
The functional design will focus on the business interfaces and processes required to complete the different functions, and will be encapsulated in the Functional Design Document (FDD).

The technical design will act as a specification for the implementers. These details will be documented within the Technical Design Document (TDD). The TDD will provide enough detail for an experienced implementer to deliver the required functionality.

3.   CM Deliver:Development
As part of the CM Deliver Service, we offer development support. Sceneric works with its clients to build joint client / Sceneric teams with experienced resources utilised at the times relevant for their projects. These resources can range from a technical specialist for a specific project task to a technical team leader who can provide insight and experience to a set of junior implementers, as well the Percussion resources themselves.

Sceneric is the UK implementation partner of MagnoliaPercussion and Oracle.  In addition our experts have worked with many Enterprise CMS systems including Day Communiqué, Tridion, Interwoven Teamsite, Vignette, Alfresco, Liferay, Morello
